Frequently Asked Questions

Will there be an Android app?

I am currently working on a Android version of the app and expecting a release of late 2024. If you would like to help with development you can fill out this short survey and at the end you can optionally provide an email to be notified when it releases on the Google Play Store.

What is Ruff Title?

Ruff Title is a dog sport title tracking app. It is available on iOS and iPadOS. You can store basic information about your dogs and registration numbers and details. The app supports a wide range of organizations for dog sport titles. You can track your dog's individual Qs, points, jumps and more on your dog's way to earn their titles.

How do I get the app?

The app is available on Apple iPhones and iPads through the App Store. Click here or check out our download page for the links.

What titles and organizations are supported?

The goal with Ruff Title was to be simple and flexible enough to work with any title and organization. Since you manually create each title and you can enter any name or details, this allows our app to work with almost anything.

If there is a title that doesn't work in our app let us know and we will try to support it.

What sports are supported?

With our flexible title tracking system we support almost any and all dog sports. Currently we have tested the app with the following sports: Conformation, Obedience, Agility, Herding, Rally, Tracking, Nosework, Barn Hunt, Dock Diving, Disc, Freestyle, Earthdog, Lure Coursing, Flyball, and many breed specific sports.

If there is a sport not supported by our app let us know and we will try to support it.

Can I import my titles and Qs?

Currently it is not possible to import titles and Qs into the app but we try to make it easy to input your dog's progress manually.

We are a small team of a single developer and our aim is to support as many organizations as possible. Since every organization handles and stores titles differently it is not possible to have a universal import feature. Also, since the app is new and our resources limited we have decided to focus on other features to make our app better. We are sorry for this inconvenience.
